Services for Job Seekers

The Northeast Minnesota Office of Job Training has a long history of providing employment and training services to both the unemployed and those seeking new or different job opportunities.  For well over 30 years, our staff has worked directly with employers to help find good jobs for our clients. Our mission is to help people find and prepare for a career that’s right for them.

On The Job Training

Office of Job Training staff are caring, experienced professionals, committed to helping individuals reach employment goals.  In many cases, our Career Counselors have also experienced unemployment at some point in their lives.  They understand the problems of caring for oneself and family members while being out of work.

The Office of Job Training also networks with major economic development agencies, including Iron Range Resources, private foundations, and the Northeast Entrepreneur Fund.  Because of this network, new job openings are sometimes known earlier than usual, giving our clients a jump on finding that new job opportunity.

Below is a listing of services available to all job seekers. Click on the links to the left to find out how you qualify for specialized assistance as a dislocated worker, youth, or an adult.
